Ads I didn’t skip – a section of my blog where I highlight advertisements with remarkable production qualities which conveyed a concise brand message, thereby evoking a strong emotion….or ads that I didn’t hit the 15 second skip button on my DVR when they run.
So this week I wanted to highlight one ad in particular – the Matthew McConaughey and the MKC: “I Just Liked It” Official Commercial. Though there are two other spots, I admit I liked this one the most.
If you haven’t seen this ad run yet, chances are you will soon, according to Ad Age the luxury automotive manufacturer aimed to garner a “Super-Bowl size audience” last week and is on a huge marketing push for the brand new MKC model.
Everything from McConaughey’s Texas drawl, to Texas hillside backdrop captures my attention every single time, in each of the three different spots.
